How do I use Stronghold?
Just shop thefarmacysb.com for pickup or delivery. After you’ve placed an order on the website, you’ll receive a SMS text message with instructions and a link to sign up and pay with Stronghold.
Where can I use Stronghold?

Stronghold can only be used on purchases made on The Farmacy Santa Barbara’s website https://www.thefarmacysb.com. Stronghold cannot be used as a form of payment for in-store purchases. Stronghold can be used on any mobile device with an active phone number. Remember, payment instructions are only sent to the number you registered your account and completed the purchase with.

What forms of payment support Stronghold pay?
Active personal checking accounts are currently the only accepted form of payment when using Stronghold
What are Stronghold’s privacy practices?
Even though you are shopping with The Farmacy Santa Barbara, you will be providing personal information directly to Stronghold if you opt to make a payment for an order. All sensitive payment information is tokenized and encrypted. These details are not shared with us, or any outside 3 rd parties. See Stronghold’s privacy policy here privacy policy
Is there a charge to use Stronghold?
There is a $2.75 processing fee on top of your purchase, the same as using an ATM/Debit card.

How do I return or exchange an item purchased using Stronghold?
We only accept returns or exchanges for defective batteries and cartridges which are 50% or more full, and non-cannabis merchandise within 14 days of the original purchase date. Please note that you must be present in store with the original packaging and receipt to receive your refund or exchange.

Is there a minimum that I must spend in order to use Stronghold?
Your cart of eligible items has no minimum for pick-up; however, your purchase must meet or exceed delivery minimums at checkout in order to use Stronghold.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single transaction using Stronghold?
All Stronghold transactions must follow BCC regulations. A non-medical customer may purchase up to 28.5 grams (g) or 1 oz. of marijuana flower and up to 8 grams (g) of marijuana concentrate. Medical customers can purchase up to 8 oz. of cannabis daily.
When do I know I’ve been approved to make a purchase using Stronghold?
Stronghold may approve or deny the use of the service while making a purchase through The Farmacy Santa Barbara’s website. You will receive an approval decision on your mobile device after checkout. Stronghold and The Farmacy Santa Barbara are committed to responsible spending.
Can I use Stronghold if I’m an international customer?

There’s no banking limitation when referencing banks within the Stronghold network so if they’re listed there, it works, but customers with a non-US phone number will likely not receive the SMS text message.

Is there a minimum age requirement for using Stronghold?
Stronghold is offered to customers 21 years of age or older, there may be some exceptions for medical users who are 18 and older dependent on the city and county in which they are purchasing.

When will my items be ready for pick-up if I used Stronghold to purchase the items?
When Stronghold is used on a pick-up order, you will receive an SMS text notification on your mobile device when your pick-up order is ready. You’ll receive the same SMS text notification about the status of your pick-up whether you’ve prepaid with Stronghold or not.
When will my items be delivered if I used Stronghold to purchase the items?
When Stronghold is used on a delivery order, it is delivered in accordance with The Farmacy Santa Barbara’s delivery window. You’ll receive the same SMS text notifications about the status of your delivery whether you’ve prepaid with Stronghold or not.

How does the payment work?
Upon completion of a successful transaction, a one-time payment for the entire total of your purchase will automatically be deducted from your bank account.
Will I be notified when my payment is complete or denied?
Yes, Stronghold sends a notification whether your payment has been completed or denied. If your payment is denied, you will have the option to pay via cash or ATM/Debit card either in person at the store or cash at the point of delivery.
Can I change payment after the order is placed?
If the order has not been picked up from the store or sent out for delivery, you may change your method of payment, however you must be present in store to do so. A refund will need to be issued. You’ll need to place a new order after your previous transaction has been cancelled. There are no fees to refund a charge, however the fees from the original charge are not returned.
What happens if my payment is not approved by Stronghold?
If your bank payment is not approved by Stronghold, you’ll still have the option to pay with cash or ATM/Debit card when you come to the store for pick up or with cash for delivery.

Can I modify an order that I used Stronghold for?
If the order has not been picked up from the store or sent out for delivery, you may modify your order, however you must be present in store to do so. A refund will need to be issued.
